about

Rarely Remembering
The intro is waking up in the morning going to work on time turning the radio up, drinking some coffee and looking forward to the day but mostly looking forward to getting home.
The second verse is the opposite, the reminder of the long nights of anxiety trying to get your life going into a positive direction. I have been in several confused states and trying to dig deep within yourself for a solution to make your life better. I just remember having sensory overload and reverting to my more analytical side of my brain to process it all. If you compartmentalize it, accept it and focus on solutions to rid yourself of it you may have a better outcome.

When I am saying I will pick up the pieces of my life and give it to you I am talking to god and I want to give my life to help him. When I say “if you could save this night I will save it to you” I want to dedicate the show to him, like saving this show onto the great computer in the sky. Hopefully that will allow me not to forget my words. The last part of the chorus is about a night in which I had an out of body experience with myself I literally saw myself walking by and singing this line “If you divide my soul into two, I will give a piece to you.” Which one interpretation is saying to god I will repay you by giving part of myself back to you. Another interpretation is I would definitely give a piece of my soul back to my family as well.
When I do something intrinsically valuable I get an imaginary crown put on my head and feel closer to the force that gave it to me. My one wish is that we are all having a holy experience here and putting are fears aside. I end up playing more guitar on those winter days when you do not want to go outside or in the summer when it is not a 100 degrees in my room with no AC. I just focus on building my sound day by day and try to find things that make me unique and build on those.

This last verse is about rarely remembering those childhood experiences and cherishing them. Some people say that whoever has biggest house nicest car wins in life that may not be accurate. Some of the most basic and enjoyable experiences are free like when I was a child, when we used to play a game called colors. I remember having so much fun in the summers at the local pool. I also always remember my mom tucking me into bed in my youth. I look back at all the years that have gone by and who from your past are here in your present. How we would gather and talk about sports or the weather report, my friends would build forts and play with baseball cards. How family is part of your soul and your childhood reflects who you are today with simple virtues that are instilled within yourself. I say this to all the people around me let’s stick together through these years. I like to take this opportunity to give your neighbor well wishes and peace and those who lost a loved one whether it be a friend or family member hopefully their spirit will convene with you now as you will with your loved ones when you pass.

Rarely Remembering
Dm C/F D/G Cmaj7/G G7 A/E
I wake up this morning and I am feeling just fine
Got myself some coffee and I am doing alright
Off to work the radio playing a favorite song of mine
6 more hours and my soul will feel light

Some nights so long when you’re upset
Feeling encouragable time is heaven sent
Reeling out going to the depths
Information overload please check brain left

I pick up all the pieces of my life and through it on down to you
And If you can save the night I 'd save it on to you yourself

If you divide my soul into two I will give a piece to you we gotta go

He goes to cast these Crowns
I find that his world is all around
Holy nights your fears never found
The winter days the rest is just sound

I pick up all the pieces of my life and through it on down to you
And If you can save the night I 'd save it on to you

If you divide my soul into two I will give a piece to you we got to go

We have been through a lot me and my head
If life turns out like they said
Playing colors in the pool when she yells red
Or my mom tucking me into bed
We can all talk about sports
Or the weather report
Or in the backyard building a fort
And the baseball cards we sort
But in the end we all end and we all begin
We all will loose and we all will win
Let’s stick together again

I like to take this opportunity to give your neighbor well wishes and prosperity
and those who lost a loved one whether it be a pet or family member
Hopefully their spirit will convene with you now as you will with your loved one when you pass
