Little Dipper
This is a song about the star constellation and the spiritual and sometimes scientific experiences that ensue with exploration of the great abyss of space and exploring those topics with different angel and deity like figures that possibly could be above us. I feel that I am always in a state of searching for people, for purpose, for possibilities.
The chorus is about how I always wonder what it would feel like to see sound and light merge into one unifying vibration. I am always on the search for those people who make my life better and color it in. Maybe all of us together will make something bigger than ourselves in this lovely evening tonight.
Second verse is about being at a party and just staring at the TV rather despondently. A lot of times I have nothing to say and am unable to talk to the people and have normal interactions with them, It is the plight of being shy. It seems like there is a great deal of pressure put on myself to make conversation and be social. Especially if you are in sales, society puts a great deal of pressure to be personal. One’s inner thoughts about things are just as important but not often talked about. People disguise their truth and sometimes lie about themselves of what really is going on in their life and inside their selves. Also, what they perceive as their own truth could be a lie or disguised as something else. I try to seek the connection of people who are real and genuine in my own personal life whenever possible.
The outro is talking about the endless length of eternity and how we are on a path that may never end, day to night and night to day.
